Major/National Crush Travel (AA/AAA) Information

This level of baseball is for players aged 10 (Second Year Minor) to 12 who have the skill and desire to play a higher level of baseball. This age group will hold try outs in March to determine the 2 or 3 teams that will compete in the District 3 spring interlock season. The players who do not make these teams will have the opportunity to play in the appropriate age house league. All evaluations are conducted by a third party independent evaluator(s). Coaches at this age will have attended NCCP clinics and will continue to develop their coaching skills by ensuring they are teaching the players the proper baseball skills and mechanics, developing appropriate strategies along with fair play and personal skills. Coaches at this level will ask the players to dedicate themselves to baseball to develop the necessary skills and team chemistry required to compete at this level. CMB would also like to encourage our players of this caliber continue to play in the summer baseball program.

Equipment needed:  Players are required to have their own gloves, baseball cleats, athletic protector, white pants and batting helmets. Players are encouraged to bring their own bats as long as they meet the little league rules (See website for new rules mandatory for 2018).

Season dates: Crush players of this age will play mostly on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and some Sundays starting in Mid-April and ending in late June. These teams will play throughout the District 3 little league area (Airdrie, Chestermere, North Calgary) and in Cochrane.

Cost: $275
