This competitive baseball program is aimed for players born in 2011 & 2012. The goals and objectives of this program is to ensure that athletes progress through the Baseball Canadas Athlete Pathway towards National programs and professional status. All members of this program will be covered under current policies, procedures and liability insurance provided by Cochrane Minor Baseball.
The program allows teams to enter into the AAA or AA programs which play teams across Alberta. The teams will play throughout all of Alberta from the beginning of April until August each season. There will need to be a strong commitment of 95% attendance for all practices and games from all players and coaches to ensure that the season runs smoothly and that players get the most out of the season.
Mission: To provide 2011 and 2012 born players the opportunity to play competitive ball in Cochrane, under the guidance and jurisdiction of Baseball Alberta.
All players will be required to attend MANDATORY try-out sessions. Head Coaches will be responsible for the selection of the team using both objective and subjective evaluations. It is the responsibility of the Head Coach to recruit and select other member of the baseball community to help with the athlete selection process.
