Registration for the 2026 season will begin on January 15, 2026 at 8am and close on February 15, 2026 or sooner if the division is full. 

If the division is full, be sure to add your name to the wait list as teams may added if registrations are sufficient.

Be sure to check out all the information about softball.  Click on 'Softball' on the main header at the top of this page.  A drop down menu will appear.

Evaluations to tier teams will be done if there is more than one team in an age category and will be held between March 15 and March 19, 2026 pending the age and level of play (house vs CMSA). Please refer to important dates.

Respect In Sport Parent (RIS) REQUIREMENT:

You will be REQUIRED to enter your current Respect In Sport Parent certification number at the time of registration. 

 1. Already Have RIS: If you have taken this course previously for any sport: confirm that it is current in the last 5 years and that you have the number available in order to complete registration. 

 2. Need RIS: complete the online course through this link PRIOR to January 15th in order to register.

2026 Fees:

(you can choose to pay half the fee at registration, remainder on February 15 or the full fee all at once)

Sock Fee

The sock fee is included in the registration fee.

Fundraising

CMB has implemented a package that will help with fundraising efforts for the association to help keep registration fees low and for continued work on the facilities and diamonds. Each package will contain 5 tickets valued at $5 for a total of $25. You will receive your tickets at the beginning of the season along with your jersey. You will be responsible for selling your tickets to re-coup your $25 or you can simply keep the tickets for yourself.

Ticket stubs will have to be submitted to your raffle coordinator or manager prior to the draw date. Final details on the raffle package will be sent out to each player once you have been assigned your team.

U11 - Born in 2015/2016**
Games or Practices Tuesday/Thursday/Friday (Rotating schedule and may include some weekend play)

House League and option for 1 travel team*. This will be determined on participant interest at registration.

$195 or $245 for CMSA travel team

*Travel Team: will be made through an evaluation process to create a team of like-skilled players to compete within the Calgary Minor Softball Association in Division 1, 2, or 3. Games Tues/Thurs in Cochrane or Calgary Area, practice Sat or Sun (scheduled practice).

**Coach Pitch is available to our 2016’s, and includes female teams. 

U13 - Born in 2013/2014

Two options based on participant interest at registration:

1. House league with one travel team (determined by player interest at registration)
   Games or Practices Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays for House League
   Games Mondays/Wednesdays and Practices Sundays for Travel Team (plays within Calgary Minor Softball)
2. House League Only: Games or Practices Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays on a rotation.
3. Additional fees will be added for those players that make the U13 Travel Team to cover pre-season practices.

$225 or $275 fro CMSA travel team
