The Major division is for players aged 11 & 12 as per the Little League age chart (located on the CMB Website). They will continue to learn the rules and strategies of the game along with continued skill development. Evaluations will be held March 23 & 24, 2024. If you are unable to attend the evaluations CMB reserves the right to place you on a team based on prior information.
Major games and practices are played Monday/Wednesday and Saturdays with occasional games on Fridays in Cochrane and midweek games in Canmore. There are no player requests available for this division.
Equipment needed: Players are required to have their own glove, baseball cleats, athletic protector, grey baseball pants, black socks and batting helmets. If players would like, they may bring their own bats as long as they meet the little league rules (See website for requirements). Players will receive a hat, socks and a jersey. The jersey will have to be returned at the end of the season.
Season dates: The season will start in late April and play until the last week in June. Players are also encouraged to play in our Little League summer baseball program.
