Little League

Major Interlock

The Major Interlock division is for players aged 11 - 12 (based on Little League age calendar) who have the skill and desire to play a higher level of baseball. This division will hold try outs in Feb/March to determine the roster for the District 3 spring interlock season. Attendance at the try-out sessions are MANDATORY for this team. All try-out and player evaluations are conducted by third party independent evaluators. Coaches at this age will have attended NCCP clinics and will continue to develop their coaching skills by ensuring they are teaching the players the proper baseball skills and mechanics, developing appropriate strategies along with fair play and personal skills. Coaches at this level will ask the players to dedicate themselves to baseball to develop the necessary skills and team chemistry required to compete at this level. CMB would also like to encourage our players of this caliber continue to play in the summer baseball program.

Coaches and 3rd party evaluators will select the 11 player roster. As this is competitive baseball, tryouts are mandatory to select the players on the team.  If a player is not selected for a travel team, they will be given the opportunity to play Major House baseball program.

Baseball glove, baseball cleats, athletic protector, white pants, orange socks and belt and a CSA approved batting helmet. Players are encouraged to bring their own bats. Players will receive a jersey and hat.

Season will run April to late June.
