Cochrane Minor Ball provides jerseys and hats for each player but parents are required to provide black softball pants. You can purchase the pants through Cochrane Softball or whatever store you choose. Socks are also provided (paid with fees).
New in 2024 - players in the infield (U11-U19) must wear a fielding mask.
This is not a Softball Alberta rule or Calgary Minor Softball rule, but association specific. Pitchers are required to wear a fielding mask. Due to the smaller field size in softball, infield masks are strongly encouraged in all divisions in minor softball. This will help players feel more comfortable getting in front of the ball while fielding, have more success, and the earlier they start wearing them, the easier it becomes.
