Minor House Baseball is for players aged 9 & 10 as per the little league age chart (located on the CMB Website). This age group is the first year that players will play actual baseball games. They will start to learn the rules and strategies of the game along with continued skill development. Minor house maybe tiered to ensure players of similar caliber are playing and developing together. All players in their first year of baseball are required to start in Minor house. Evaluations will be held in early April to evaluate all players so that teams can be split up as evenly as possible. Minor house games and practices are played throughout the week (Mon - Sat) in Cochrane, Redwood Meadows and the occasional game in Canmore. The season will start in late April and end in Late June. Players are also encouraged to play in our summer baseball program.
Attendance at the evaluation sessions is mandatory at this level.
